Day 1 : transfer from Tontouta International Airport to Noumea's hotel. Day free.
ISLE OF PINES
Day 2 : Departure to Isle of Pines. Transfer to your guesthouse.
Day 3 : day-trip to Oro Natural swimming pool.
Day 4 : cruise to discover the lagoon and Nokanhui Atoll. Pic-Nic on the islet. Back to Noumea. Car rental when you arrive.
TO THE NORTH
Day 5 : Discover Noumea !
Day 6 : Departure to the North, with a first stop at Bourail, in a guesthouse.
Day 7 : Long drive to Hienghene, through Poindimie.
Day 8 : Enjoy your stay !
Day 9 : Drive up to Pouebo, crossing the Ouaieme river. Back to your hostel.
Day 10 : Drive slowly back to La Foa and enjoy the landscapes of mountains and coconuts plantations along the coast.
Day 11 : Enjoy La Foa and its activities around: Fort Terremba museum, horse riding, trekking... (optionnal activities must be booked a few days before). Back to Noumea.
NOUMEA / GRAND SUD
Day 12 : Free stay around Noumea.
Day 13 : Day-trip to the big South (Blue River, Prony...)
LIFOU
Day 14 : departure to Lifou. Transfer, then rental car at the hostel. Discover the southern part of the island : Luengoni, Xodre.
Day 15 : discover the North : Easo, Jokin.
Day 16 : Peng or Chateaubriand Bays , then fly back to Noumea.
NOUMEA
Day 17 : free in Noumea for a last shopping tour !
Day 18 : shuttle for your international flight.

If you are on a tight schedule to visit the islands, Isle of Pines and Ouvéa are the best options. These are the must see post card islands, with white sand beaches and mind blowing landscapes. Lifou and Maré, the largest Loyalty islands, offer an authentic Melanesian experience to those who can afford to take the time to immerse themselves in the culture.
